Description
A unique shelving unit made from reclaimed Indian wood. This set of chunky shelves are held together with a steel structure making it a long lasting and robust piece of furniture. The grain and colour of the wood is protected using a clear lacquer to give sheen and longevity.

I’m a big fan of this alcove-style bookcase for its clean metal frame paired with warm timber shelves - it bridges industrial, Scandi and farmhouse looks with ease. It works equally well in a city apartment, home office or living room alcove, adding vertical interest without feeling heavy.
When styling, mix books laid flat and upright, intersperse a few sculptural objects or ceramics, and tuck in trailing plants to soften the lines. Leave some open space so it doesn’t look overcrowded, and repeat one accent colour across different shelves for a cohesive feel.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
