I really like the zigzag bookcase for its striking mix of white panels and warm dark wood - it adds instant character without dominating a room. Its clean lines and geometric detailing suit contemporary, Scandi-inspired or mid-century schemes, and the one-door design cleverly hides away less attractive bits while keeping open shelving for display.
To style it, group books both vertically and horizontally, then intersperse small plants or sculptural objects in odd numbers for visual balance. Use the closed section to stow office supplies or smaller items you’d rather keep out of sight, and keep colour accents on the shelves to tie in with existing soft furnishings or artwork.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
