I’m a big fan of the Zigzag extension table for its clean lines and clever extending mechanism - it feels at home in contemporary lofts, minimalist Scandinavian schemes or even an industrial-edge dining space. The dark wood top against the black base adds just the right amount of contrast.
For styling, keep the tabletop clutter-free and centre a low, sculptural vase or a few ceramic bowls. Pair with slim-profile chairs in mixed materials (metal and timber, or soft upholstery in muted tones) and layer a natural-fibre rug underneath to anchor the setting.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
