Description

Bring elegance and versatility to your dining space with the Osaka Extending Dining Table, a perfect centerpiece for any modern home. Its sophisticated black graphite-look ceramic top combines luxury with practicality, featuring a scratch-resistant and heat-resistant surface thats as durable as it is stylish. The adjustable size, expanding from 160 cm to 240 cm with a smooth Synchronous extension leaf system, makes it ideal for cosy dinners or larger gatherings. Designed to make a statement, the tables asymmetrical black powder-coated metal legs create a bold and contemporary silhouette, while the solid metal base ensures exceptional stability. The extension leaf conveniently stores within the table when not in use, blending practicality with sleek design. Minimal assembly is required, ensuring a quick and seamless setup.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a big fan of the Osaka table in black for its clean lines and sturdy angular base - it’s a real statement without overwhelming a room. It suits contemporary, industrial or minimalist schemes, pairing well with muted walls and mixed-metal accents. For styling, keep centrepieces simple: a low ceramic bowl of seasonal fruits or a sculptural vase with greenery. Surround it with slender chairs in matte black or soft neutral upholstery to balance the table’s strong presence. Underfoot, a low-pile rug in greys or taupe will ground the space without hiding the table’s distinctive leg design.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
