A traditional cobbled city street with window shutters, lamps and al fresco dining by artist Richard Macneil, framed and mounted. Richard Macneil is a self-taught artist who has worked in the fields of sculpture, ceramics and graphics both in the UK and internationally. He founded the Macneil Studio in 2009 with his wife and sons. He spent a long time working in the USA and one of his greatest achievements was seeing his artwork in the Oval Office in The White House. Returning to Worcestershire, England, where he was born and bred, Richard has worked on developing his unique style with a vision to create 'art that appeals to and is accessible to all'.
The city street print adds a chic, urban vibe that works well in contemporary or eclectic interiors. I love it for bringing a sense of movement and energy to living rooms or hallway spaces, especially when paired with minimalist furniture or neutral tones. Practical styling tips include layering it alongside other black-and-white or monochrome artwork for a curated gallery wall, or using it as a focal point above a simple sideboard or sofa. The size makes it versatile-large enough to make an impact without overwhelming the space-so it suits both spacious and cosy rooms equally. The framed presentation also ensures a polished look, making it easy to integrate into various decor styles.
