Price History

Description

Made of lightweight MDF, this wall plaque is strong and durable, but lightweight enough to not damage walls. Its background sports a white wood panel effect, and features a 'butcher shop' design, with silhouettes of animals and their respective cuts of meat. Its weathered effect and 'since 1897' lettering contribute to its traditional feel.

Our Stylist Says

This butcher shop wall plaque has a great vintage vibe that works well in rustic, farmhouse, or industrial-style interiors. I love its bold colour palette of black, grey, and red, which adds a touch of warmth and character without overwhelming a space. It’s a versatile piece that can be styled as a statement in a kitchen, utility room, or even a vintage-inspired dining area. Practical tips include pairing it with reclaimed wood or metal accents to amplify its rustic charm, or grouping it alongside other vintage prints or signage for an eclectic, curated look. Overall, it’s a charming addition that adds personality and a nostalgic touch to casual and cosy settings.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
