Add elegance to your dining area with the Petrice Large Ball in Ball 5 Light Diner Bar in Brushed Black Nickel and Mink. The combination of diner bar design and brushed black nickel finish adds a touch of modernity to your decor. With five height-adjustable lights, this fixture becomes a stylish and functional addition to your dining space, featuring a double shade design for a diffused ambient glow.

Our Stylist Says

I love this pendant for its modern yet versatile aesthetic. The Petrice Glass Ball Diner ceiling light looks particularly effective in contemporary or industrial-inspired interiors, offering a sleek black nickel finish that complements neutral palettes or adds a touch of sophistication to darker colour schemes. It works well over kitchen islands, dining tables, or breakfast bars, providing focused lighting without overwhelming the space. For practical styling tips, consider pairing it with filament or vintage-style bulbs to enhance its ambient glow, and hang at a height that provides ample illumination while maintaining visual balance within the room. Its clean lines and reflective glass spheres make it a statement piece that enhances both minimal and eclectic spaces.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
