Description
The tan leather-upholstered Otto Armchair is exclusive to The Conran Shop and marks a continuing collaboration between British designer Lucy Kurrein and Italian furniture master, Molinari. Designed with the warming intimacy of a campfire in mind, the enveloping chair sits on a steel frame, comforting back and arms, hardy elastic straps and is finished with supple feather-filled cushions. This version is upholstered in vegetable-tanned, lightproof cattle leather. Award-winning designer Lucy Kurrein worked for renowned design houses such as Matthew Hilton and Pearson Lloyd before setting up her London studio in 2013. Inspired by Molinari’s “Italian furniture manufacturing heritage”, the Otto collection is a contemporary fusion of Kurrein's ergonomics with Molinari’s “leather-working prowess. ”.
