Description

This petite cabinet, designed for drinks storage, follows on from our well-loved Balabac Range – named after the islands of Balabac in the Philippines, where rattan is prosperous. Its minimal profile and natural warm-wood finish is complemented by a raised rattan top (with a glass inset) and frontage, which adds texture. Inside, the central shelf is fixed with a rail for hanging glasses set into the underside of the top shelf. Due to the handmade nature and natural materials used, each cabinet will have individual characteristics.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of the Balabac drinks cabinet for its clean lines, warm bayur-wood finish and subtle cane detailing - it brings a relaxed, contemporary feel without dominating a room. Its compact proportions work well in living rooms, dining areas or entrances, especially in schemes that favour natural materials and a neutral palette. Styling-wise, keep the top surface simple: a low vase, a pair of tumblers or a slim tray for your favourite spirits. Inside, group glassware and decanters by height and colour to maintain order and visual interest. Pair with jute-woven rugs, rattan seating or pale linen upholstery to reinforce a laid-back, Scandi-inspired look.
