Description

The black and gold of the Ivar lend a striking Victorian-style aesthetic to this lamp. Its wooden base is formed through an artisanal turning process and then carved by skilled craftspeople with handheld tools. The piece is then lacquered, painted and varnished, with hand-applied gold foil in complementary scalloped bands.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this lamp for its versatile blend of classic and modern elements. The black and gold finish adds a touch of sophistication, making it suitable for both traditional and contemporary interiors. It works especially well in living rooms, bedrooms, or even on a corner side table, where the warm glow can create a cosy atmosphere. When styling, consider pairing it with neutral-toned furnishings for an understated look, or alongside textured fabrics and metallic accents for a layered and curated feel. Its substantial base ensures stability, while the neutral shade makes it easy to incorporate into various colour schemes, providing both function and style in equal measure.
