Description

Bring a pop of warmth and vibrancy into your home with the Halden Tall Ceramic Table Lamp in Yellow. The sleek, elongated ceramic base is finished in a radiant yellow tone, brightening up any space effortlessly. Topped with a tall neutral fabric shade, it balances boldness with elegance, offering a gorgeous diffused glow.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this tall ceramic lamp for its vibrant yellow finish, which can instantly lift the look of a room. It works well in eclectic, retro-inspired interiors or as a playful pop of colour in more neutral spaces. Its sizeable height makes it ideal for sideline use on console tables, sideboards, or in a cosy reading nook. Practical styling tips include pairing it with contrasting textures such as wood or matt surfaces to highlight the smooth ceramic and bold colour. Keeping the surrounding accessories simple will let this lamp really stand out as a statement piece while providing functional ambient lighting.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
