It also looks great in repose, boasting a geometric strut made from solid oak, as well as versatile flaxen linen upholstery.

I’m a fan of this Hester bench for its clean oak frame and softly textured linen seat - it brings a light, uncluttered feel without looking too fragile. It works equally well in Scandi-inspired living rooms, coastal homes or modern classic hallways, and it’s slim enough for tighter spaces. For styling, tuck a woven throw or a pair of neutral linen cushions on top, and layer a low-pile jute or sisal runner underneath to add warmth and ground the piece.
