Description
Beautifully brought to life by the talented Japanese artist, Ohara Koson, the Bird Canvas is available in two designs with each featuring a traditional illustration in soft, delicate tones. Depicting elegant birds in flight among leaves and reeds, this wall art will give your room a cultured, worldy, and nature-inspired air.
Our Stylist Says
I really like this Ohara Koson Birds canvas; its subtle colour palette and delicate depiction of the flying birds make it a versatile piece. It works particularly well in minimalist or contemporary interiors where it can add a touch of elegance without overwhelming the space. To style it effectively, I’d suggest pairing it with neutral tones, perhaps over a console table or in a quiet corner, where its calm, natural vibe can be appreciated. Framing in a simple black or wooden frame will help it feel modern and cohesive, making it a great statement in living rooms, hallways, or even bedrooms looking for a subtle touch of artful serenity.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
