Description

Outdoor mirrors are an ideal way to transform your garden. Our Bahula Mirror, crafted to complement our popular Parwaha range, features a beautifully elegant frame that adds a subtle touch of style. Its thoughtful design allows vines and leaves to weave naturally through the frame, blending seamlessly with your garden’s surroundings. Full of character, this mirror brings depth and creates a striking focal point in any outdoor setting.

Our Stylist Says

I love how the nkuku Bahula outdoor mirror combines rustic charm with practical outdoor use. Its rust finish adds a weathered, vintage vibe that works particularly well in rustic, boho, or industrial-style gardens and patios. This mirror can help create the illusion of more space in smaller outdoor areas and adds visual interest when mounted against stone or brick walls. When styling, consider pairing it with natural textures like wood and metal or placing it amidst lush greenery for a captivating focal point. To make the most of its aesthetic, position it where it can reflect light or garden views, creating a sense of depth and openness in your outdoor space.

About Nkuku

Established in 2003, Nkuku offers ethically sourced, handcrafted, and eco-friendly homewares and furniture. Their pieces introduce an element of rustic elegance to your space, perfect for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The Story of Nkuku

Inspired by the artisans they met during a world trip in 2002, Ali and Alex established Nkuku, a brand that celebrates handmade techniques and traditional skills from artisans across the world.

The journey began with a business plan drafted on a beach, with the name "Nkuku" taken from a Zambian village they passed.

Starting in Devon, they initially sold products from their travels at local markets. Eventually, Nkuku transitioned from a wholesale business to a known retail brand, offering a wide range of homewares, from tableware to furniture.

Values and Ethical Commitment

Nkuku is not just about selling products; it's about values. They are committed to an ethical approach, partnering with independent businesses, social projects, and cooperatives. Their focus? Building transparent, strong relationships with suppliers to ensure mutual success.

They're also environmentally conscious, incorporating natural and recycled materials into their products. From golden hemp and reclaimed mango wood to textiles recycled from old t-shirts, Nkuku champions sustainability and eco-friendly production methods.

Sustainability at Its Heart

Every Nkuku product tells a tale, capturing the essence of traditional, handmade craftsmanship. By embracing low-impact production methods, they bring collections that are individually crafted, ensuring each piece is unique.

The brand cherishes the age-old knowledge passed down through generations of artisans. It's not just about home décor for them; it's about keeping a rich heritage alive and celebrating the beauty of handmade uniqueness.
