Legendary and iconic, the Luxembourg collection furnishes the Luxembourg Gardens in Paris. Designed by Frédéric Sofia, the Luxembourg range is the symbol of French design, an expression of French culture. All about lightness, this aluminium furniture exudes joie de vivre and togetherness. Simple and popular, its design is reminiscent of the school chair rooted in our collective heritage. This Luxembourg stool is made entirely from aluminium: a light, corrosion-resistant material for withstanding of the most demanding weather conditions and uses, even by the sea. Easy to handle, light and stackable, it has silent glides and a carry handle. The 3-dimensional curved end slats and backrest ensure good seating comfort. Frédéric Sofia: ‘’In designing furniture to go with the Jardin du Luxembourg chair, I sought subtle lines which respect the oh-so French style of the 20s and invite people to discover the simple pleasures of the past in the secrecy of their own garden’’.
