I’m a fan of the Quinby stool in grey for its clean silhouette and weather-resistant build - it feels substantial without looking bulky. Its perforated shell and slim metal legs work brilliantly in contemporary patios, urban balconies or a pared-back country garden.
For styling, pair it with a light timber high-top table or a simple concrete planter for contrast. Add a seat pad in a complementary colour (think deep navy or terracotta) to soften the look, or use two either side of a narrow outdoor bench to create a casual conversation spot.
