With a rung on which to rest your feet, our robust stool is the perfect height for a breakfast bar and complements many interior styles, especially a pared back Scandi-inspired look.

I’m really fond of this grey limewashed stool for its clean lines and understated finish - it’s the sort of piece that slips seamlessly into a Scandi kitchen, a relaxed coastal scheme or even a modern farmhouse breakfast bar. The muted grey legs and pale, limewashed top keep the look light, so it won’t dominate a compact space, yet it still adds a subtle layer of texture.
Styling tip: cluster two or three beneath a pale timber island and hang a simple pendant above to create a relaxed eating nook. You could soften the seat with a slim, woven cushion in natural fibre or drape a lightweight throw over the back if you’re short on storage. For daily use, the built-in footrest ensures comfort, and the durable finish means it wears well in high-traffic areas.
