A lovely celebration of the natural beauty of wood, our Limewashed Parquet Bench has a simple outline which focuses all the attention on the texture of the chevron patterned top. Made of fir, with a light limewashed veneer, the bench is a great standalone piece for the hallway or team it, as we have here, with our Limewashed Parquet Dining Table.

I’m a fan of the limewashed bench for its pale, neutral finish that still lets the wood’s natural grain shine through. Its clean lines and low profile make it a natural fit for Scandi-inspired, coastal or modern farmhouse schemes, and it works equally well as extra dining seating or a hallway perch.
For styling, try draping a simple sheepskin or textured linen throw for softness, then ground it with a woven runner or rug underneath. If you use it as a coffee-table alternative, top it with a shallow tray, a couple of art books and a small vase. It pairs nicely with both raw timber tables and slim-framed metal pieces for subtle contrast.
