Description

Sleek and stylish, the Lewis Glass Ball Table Lamp in Marble blends modern design with luxurious materials. Featuring a smooth, round marble glass base and a neutral shade, this lamp creates a sophisticated focal point in any room. The marble adds a touch of class, while the soft light from the glass shade creates a warm, ambient glow.

Our Stylist Says

I love the simplicity and elegance of the Lewis Glass Ball table lamp-its marble base adds a sophisticated touch that can elevate both classic and contemporary interiors. It works particularly well in neutrally styled rooms, such as a minimalist lounge or a chic bedside table, where its smooth curves and natural veins provide subtle interest without overwhelming the space. When styling, consider pairing it with textured textiles or matte finishes to create a balanced look, and use it to add soft, ambient lighting - perfect for creating cosy corners or making a console table feel more inviting. Its timeless appeal makes it versatile enough to serve as both a functional source of light and a decorative accent.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
