I’m a big fan of this three-tier side table for its mix of warm brown planked shelves and a slim black metal frame - it brings a neat industrial edge without feeling too heavy. It works equally well in a loft-style living room, a pared-back Scandinavian scheme or even a cosy reading nook.
For styling, use the top tier for a small lamp or a vase, middle for your current reads and the bottom for storage baskets or magazine files. The open tiers keep everything visible but organised, and you can layer textures - think a ceramic pot, woven box and a stack of paperbacks - to give it personality without clutter.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
