Description

The Ido Bar Stool was designed by Frank Rettenbacher and presents clean lines of solid oak or walnut in a contemporary structure made up of three elegantly splayed legs that lead to a tapered disc that constitutes the seat. Perfect for enhancing a breakfast bar or high table area, the Ido Tall Stool’s wood has been painted with a natural treatment to enhance the oak’s natural grain, ensuring that the material matches the elegance of the design’s form. With a subtle footrest in satin-finished steel, the Ido Tall Stool in oak looks great in pairs or grouped and would make an informed addition to your dining or living area.

Our Stylist Says

I love this stool for its sleek, minimalist design and warm walnut finish, making it a versatile choice for a variety of interiors. It works particularly well in modern or contemporary kitchens and bar areas, adding a touch of elegance without feeling over the top. Practical styling tips include pairing it with a counter-height breakfast bar or using it as an occasional perch in a lounge or open-plan space. Its tall stature makes it ideal for high counters, and the walnut wood adds richness and texture, pairing beautifully with both light and dark colour schemes. To keep things cohesive, consider complementing it with other walnut or natural wood elements within your scheme.
