I’m a fan of the Torrington two-seater for its neat proportions and durable granite-tone Melton wool upholstery - it feels both cosy and hard-wearing. The slim black metal feet give it a floating, modern profile that works well in city lofts, Scandi-inspired living rooms or as part of a pared-back scheme.
To style, layer in cushions in muted blush or deep navy, add a textured wool throw over one arm, then anchor the look with a natural-weave rug and light oak side table. A tall, slimline floor lamp beside the sofa will emphasise its clean lines and help create a relaxed reading corner.

Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
By the 1900s, almost everyone in London knew Heal's for its great furniture. Interestingly, they were also among the first to sell electric lights in Britain. During World War II, their main store even helped by making parachutes for soldiers.
