Description

Harvard offers a distinct collection of pieces ideal for casual living and for your office at home. Made from hard wearing, easy to clean, woodgrain texture finished boards in washed oak finish and carbon grey grained finish and with black bar effect legs. This display bookcase offers a variety of open storage compartments to display almost anything, anywhere in your home. Internal shelves and uprights are finished in a contrasting finish to the cabinet itself which adds greater emphasis to whatever you choose to display.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of the Harvard shelf in washed oak and grey for its mix of warmth and industrial edge - the pale oak keeps things light, while the grey dividers add just enough contrast. It slots straight into Scandi-inspired or modern-industrial spaces, but works equally well in a home office where you need both storage and a touch of softness. Styling tips: keep larger books and baskets on the bottom open shelf for easy access, then use the smaller grey compartments for curios, plants or sculptural objects to break up your display. A couple of framed prints leaning at the back can add height, while a trailing houseplant softens the hard lines.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
