I’m a fan of the Lulworth bookcase for its clean lines and warm oak finish - it slots straight into Scandi, modern farmhouse or pared-back contemporary schemes. Its tall, narrow profile makes it ideal for tight corners or home offices, while the four evenly spaced shelves give you plenty of room for books, display objects and storage baskets.
Styling tip: group your books both upright and laid flat, alternating heights to create rhythm, then tuck in a ceramic vase or small planter to break up the straight lines. On the top shelf you might lean a small framed print at the back to add depth without overcrowding. For a pulled-together look, choose accessories in two or three complementary tones rather than filling every shelf with colour.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
