Description

Ta dah it's Tristan. Storage by day and beautiful double bedframe by night. It takes little effort to pop up the foot of the bed using the ingenious gas-lift mechanism and hey presto, loads of underbed storage is revealed. Hide duvets, linens or surplus clothes. A soft grey upholstered headboard and covered grey frame creates a soft and luxury feel. Underneath wooden slats provide long-lasting comfort and mattress support. Dream sweetly.

Our Stylist Says

I love this bed for its practicality and understated style. The Habitat Tristan doubles as both a comfortable sleeping space and discreet storage, making it ideal for bedrooms where space is at a premium. The grey upholstery offers great versatility, complementing a wide range of colour schemes and interior styles-from contemporary minimalism to cosy, layered familias. To style it, consider adding textured bedding and a few decorative cushions to soften the look, along with a statement headboard or wall art for visual interest. It’s also worth pairing with sleek bedside tables and understated lighting to keep the room feeling tidy and inviting. Overall, this bed works well in modern flats, guest rooms, or multifunctional spaces where practicality meets clean, simple design.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
