I’m a fan of the Sonoma oak shoe cabinet for its straightforward, space-saving design and neutral timber tone. It slots neatly into a modern hallway or a pared-back, Scandi-inspired entry without looking bulky, and the slatted doors keep footwear out of sight while allowing air to circulate.
For styling, top it with a shallow tray for keys and sunglasses, add a slim mirror above to bounce light down your hall, and tuck a pair of slender planters either side for a touch of greenery. Inside, pop in a couple of woven baskets on the lower shelves to corral trainers or children’s boots and use the adjustable shelves to house heels or ankle boots neatly.
