Description

Effectively illuminate your rooms with the Dana Pastel Easyfit Shade. The 40cm diameter of this shade makes it a great lighting choice for larger rooms. This lightshade easily attaches to your already installed light fitting, meaning no need for an electrician. Made from linen, you can be sure this shade will last the test of time, while the lightweight and pourous material allows a warm glow to radiate through it, increasing the visibility within your home.

Our Stylist Says

The Dana Pastel Easyfit Shade in beige offers a subtle yet stylish lighting solution that’s easy to incorporate into a variety of interiors. I love its clean, understated design which complements both contemporary and minimalist spaces, as well as softer, traditional settings. The beige tone adds warmth and helps create a cosy atmosphere without overwhelming the ceiling. For practical styling, consider pairing it with warm light bulbs to enhance its inviting appeal, and hang it in rooms like kitchens or living areas where a balanced, diffuse light is desirable. It’s a versatile piece that can effortlessly blend into different colour schemes - perfect for maintaining a calm and cohesive look.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
