I’m a fan of this dining set for its streamlined table base and rich green velvet chairs - they bring just the right mix of comfort and contemporary style. It works especially well in Scandi-inspired or mid-century modern schemes, where the simple timber top and dark metal legs won’t compete with other design features. To style it, keep your tableware in a neutral palette and add a single sculptural pendant lamp above to draw the eye. In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores".
