Snuggle up in style with the Chunky Cable Knit Throw in Grey. Measuring 130x160cm, this throw offers a classic cable knit design that adds texture and warmth to any room. Its neutral grey hue makes it a versatile addition to your home decor, perfect for draping over sofas or beds.

Our Stylist Says

I love this chunky cable knit throw for its cosy, tactile texture and versatile grey hue, making it a great addition to a range of interiors. It works particularly well in modern rustic, Scandinavian, or even contemporary schemes, adding warmth and visual interest without overpowering the space. Practical styling tips include draping it over the arm of a sofa for a relaxed look, layering it with contrasting cushions for added texture, or folding it neatly at the foot of a bed for a tidy finish. Its substantial chunky knit design makes it ideal for creating inviting, lived-in interiors that feel effortlessly stylish.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
