Our Stylist Says
I love this table lamp because of its contemporary yet versatile look. The chrome base with the navy cut-out shade creates a striking contrast that can add interest to a range of interiors, from modern or coastal to more eclectic spaces. It works particularly well on sideboards, bedside tables, or desks where you want to introduce a splash of colour and pattern without overwhelming the room. Practical styling tips include pairing it with other navy accents or metallic finishes to create a cohesive look, and placing it in spaces with complementary textures like glass or smooth woods to enhance its modern appeal. It’s a great choice for adding ambient lighting while also serving as a statement piece.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
