Description

For a bold yet comforting touch, the Chevron Faux Fur Throw in Charcoal delivers depth and drama with its rich tone and plush texture. The chevron design creates a sense of movement, making it a standout piece in minimalist or industrial-style rooms. Its generous 130x170cm size makes it ideal for wrapping up or styling across furniture.

Our Stylist Says

The Chevron Faux Fur Throw in charcoal is a stylish and versatile piece that adds texture and warmth to a variety of interiors. I love its contemporary chevron pattern combined with plush faux fur, making it a great option for modern or Scandinavian-inspired spaces. It works well layered over a neutral sofa or bed to introduce cosy comfort and a touch of chic. For practical styling, drape it casually to enhance a relaxed look or fold it neatly at the end of a bed for a polished finish. Its neutral charcoal colour makes it easy to coordinate with other soft furnishings and colour schemes, making it a reliable staple for creating a warm, inviting atmosphere.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
