Description

The Cambridge Oak 1.2 Extending Table is designed to offer the perfect blend of style and function to your dining room, and to do it all in a way that instantly makes you feel at home. By adding rounded corners and beautifully shaped legs to the oak top your new Dining Table is known for, we’ve created a country charm that you’ll never want to be without again. It’s all about creating the one space in the home that no one will want to leave so you can make memories and savour flavours like you only can at home.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Cambridge Oak 1.2 Extending Table for its versatile rustic charm and practicality. Its natural oak finish makes it an excellent focal point for both traditional and contemporary interiors, especially in country kitchens or modern open-plan dining spaces. The extension feature is great for hosting larger gatherings without sacrificing everyday functionality. For styling, pair it with mixed wood or upholstered chairs for a cosy, layered look, and keep accessories minimal to showcase the natural grain. This table works particularly well in schemes that emphasise natural materials and neutral tones, providing warmth and texture to the space.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
