Description
Refined Victorian style, the Bronte features a beautiful powder-coated finish and antique brass details. The Bronte is constructed from steel and features a sprung slatted base to give natural bounce, adjusting to where pressure is most exerted for greater comfort. The maximum weight load for the Bronte bed is 250 kg. Please note Birlea beds are only suitable for a UK standard size mattress.
Our Stylist Says
I love the Birlea Bronte Bed for its classic metal frame with a timeless, slightly vintage feel that works well in a range of interiors. The cheerful yellow adds a lively touch, making it perfect for bright, contemporary bedrooms or eclectic schemes. It pairs well with neutral linens for a crisp, modern look, or layered with textured bedding and quirky accessories to create a cosy, inviting feel. To keep the space balanced, consider pairing with muted coloured furniture or soft pastel accents - the yellow really pops against these tones without overwhelming the room. It’s a versatile piece that can anchor both minimalist and more playful, eclectic interiors.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
