Our Bay collection is handcrafted from solid reclaimed wood timbers which in their nature are wonderfully characterful. With a unique patina and grain, each carefully placed piece appears to have its own story to tell. Here our Bay Storage Bench offers ample storage, raised upon four feet and within a hinged lid. Charm washes over this piece with its genuine aged appearance, subtle marks and variations, to make this a unique and functional addition to your room.

I’m a big fan of this storage bench for its clean, slatted wood front and warm, weathered finish - it slips effortlessly into coastal, farmhouse or Scandi-inspired schemes. In an entrance hall it’s perfect for stashing shoes or umbrellas beneath the lid and doubling as a seat for putting on boots; in a living room it works well at the foot of a sofa or bed.
Styling-wise, keep the look fresh by topping it with a slim tray for keys and a small planter, and layer on a textured cushion or two to soften the lines. Throw in woven baskets or folded throws inside for easy access, and stick to a neutral palette with occasional pops of muted blues or greens to complement the natural timber.
