I’m a fan of these dark-grey PU leather bar stools because their clean lines and chrome bases slot effortlessly into modern, industrial or Scandinavian-inspired kitchens. The faux-leather is hard-wearing and simple to wipe down, while the gas-lift and swivel function mean they’re as practical as they are sleek. For styling, tuck them under a white quartz breakfast bar to let the grey really pop, or pair with raw timber countertops and black iron pendant lights for a loft-style look. A small sheepskin throw or monochrome cushion adds just the right touch of texture without overwhelming the pared-back feel.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
