Description

Infuse your home with natural charm using the Kyle 40cm Oval Rattan Semi Flush Ceiling Light in Natural. Featuring a woven rattan design, this ceiling light offers a warm, inviting glow while adding texture and character to your lighting. Its smaller size makes it perfect for compact spaces, low ceilings, or as part of a layered lighting scheme. 40cm oval shape ideal for smaller rooms or grouped lighting; Natural rattan weave creates a soft, atmospheric glow; Flush design allows you to add a boho look to hallways, landings, or rooms with low ceilings.

Our Stylist Says

I love this rattan semi-flush because of its natural, laid-back appeal and versatility. Its organic oval shape works well in both contemporary and rustic interiors, adding warmth and texture without overwhelming a space. It’s perfect for living rooms, bedrooms, or even kitchens where you want a touch of cosy elegance. For styling tips, consider pairing it with soft, neutral colour palettes or natural textiles like linen and wicker to enhance its earthy vibe. To keep the look fresh and modern, hang it in a room with plenty of natural light, which will highlight the intricate weave and create beautiful shadow patterns. This light really bridges coastal, boho, and modern farmhouse styles effortlessly.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
