I’ve been using the Angus shelf for its clean-lined mix of white-oak boards and slim black metal framing - it feels right at home in Scandinavian, minimalist or light industrial schemes. The contrast of warm wood and dark steel gives it presence without overwhelming a room, so it’s equally happy in a living area, home office or hall.
For styling, alternate rows of books laid flat with a few standing titles to break up the visual rhythm, then weave in objects of different heights - think a small plant next to a sculptural vase. Use the little enclosed cabinet for stashing chargers or loose papers, and keep baskets or decorative boxes on the lower tiers to maintain an uncluttered look.
