The Alfie storage bed is a versatile bed like no other. The Alfie comes with a headboard storage solution ideal for books, blankets and other trinkets. The Alfie storage bed also has a useful pull out drawer that can be used either side of the bed. Please note Birlea beds are only suitable for a UK standard size mattress.

I’m a big fan of the Alfie bed because its clean white finish and clever under-bed drawers instantly declutter a bedroom while keeping the look light and airy. It suits everything from Scandi-inspired schemes with pale woods and linen throws to modern coastal or pared-back contemporary spaces.
To style, layer muted bedding with a couple of textured cushions and a throw in natural fibres. Tuck matching baskets into the drawers to conceal extra bedding or seasonal clothes. Top the headboard shelves with a mix of small frames, a potted plant and a bedside lamp for practicality and personality. A pale jute or geometric-print rug will tie the whole look together without overpowering the simplicity of the bed.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores".
