It sits neatly beside a sofa or bed in industrial, Scandi-inspired or even eclectic schemes, and the open tiers let you layer books, baskets and a small plant without it feeling cluttered.
Styling tip: balance stacked items on the middle shelf with a single decorative object (a candle or sculpture) on top, then tuck a woven basket on the bottom tier to mask remotes or bits and bobs. The result is both ordered and visually interesting.
