I’m a fan of this little wood-and-metal side table because its clean lines and rustic brown finish slot straight into industrial, Scandi or modern farmhouse schemes. The slim frame means it won’t overwhelm a small seating area, and the two lower tiers are brilliant for stacking books or corralling remote controls in a neat basket. Top tip: style the surface with a compact lamp or a sculptural vase, tuck a plant on the middle shelf to introduce some greenery, and use the bottom shelf for a woven box or a few coffee-table titles to keep everything within easy reach.
