I’m a big fan of this three-drawer shoe unit for its compact footprint and clean lines - it neatly tucks into a hallway or bedside area without feeling bulky. The combination of walnut-effect trim and soft grey fronts works equally well in Scandi-inspired schemes or contemporary city flats, adding just enough warmth without clashing with brighter accents. Styling wise, use the top as a mini catch-all: a shallow ceramic tray for keys and sunglasses, a small plant and a slim mirror above create a useful drop-zone. Inside the drawers, keep shoes organised by season or occasion and consider lining each shelf with a non-slip mat to protect both heels and the unit’s finish.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
