Description
Exuding artisanal flair through hand-crafted details and intricate forms, this silk embroidered cushion displays a handwoven SUZANI pattern. Golden tones shimmer in a prominent motif with glistening blues, reds, and yellows bringing an opulent feel to the cushion. Ornamental baroque-style shapes stand out against the neutral background, set within a minimal floral border. The cushion is complemented with a contrasting cream rear panel and comes with duck feather filling. MINDTHEGAP's authentic, handmade suzani cushion covers originate in Nurata, Uzbekistan. The intricate, colourful pattern is drawn onto the heavy cotton base fabric before embroidering happens. Common motifs include flowers, leaves, fruits, particularly pomegranate.
