I’ve been using the walnut desk base for a few installations now and really appreciate its rich grain and slim profile - it brings warmth without taking up too much visual space. It works particularly well in mid-century and Scandi schemes, but also sits comfortably in a more pared-back industrial or contemporary home study. For styling, pair it with a simple matt-white or light timber top to keep the look fresh, then add a slim brass or black task lamp and a small pot plant for contrast. Tuck away cables with discreet clips underneath and choose a streamlined desk chair in leather or upholstered fabric to complete the set-up.
