Description

I’m a fan of this black-and-chrome holder for its simple geometry and contrast of finishes - it gives a subtle graphic edge without shouting for attention. It works particularly well in modern or industrial-style spaces, where the polished chrome adds a hint of shine against raw materials like exposed brick or light oak shelves.
For styling, mount a pair to support a slim timber shelf and use it to display a mix of ceramics and small plants; alternatively, install several at varying heights as a set of floating nooks. Make sure you fix into wall studs or use heavy-duty wall plugs, and keep your shelf depth modest (around 150mm) to let the holder’s tiered design remain visible.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
