Description

Tired of the same old look. Breakaway from the norm with the unique and contemporary style of this S-shape bookcase from HOMCOM. Five shelves of storage make it easy to display your favourite books, photos, collectables and more. Best of all, thanks to an open-back design, it doubles as a bookshelf and room divider in one.

Our Stylist Says

This S-shaped storage unit is a clever combination of aesthetics and functionality that works well in a range of interiors, from minimalist modern to eclectic spaces. I love its sculptural form as it adds visual interest without overwhelming the room. It’s perfect for displaying books, plants, or decorative objects, and its open design encourages a curated, layered look. Practical styling tips include keeping the top shelves light and airy, perhaps with a vase or small plant, while reserving the lower shelves for books or more substantial objects to balance the visual weight. It’s versatile enough to fit against a wall in the living room or even as a room divider in an open-plan space. The black finish makes it easy to integrate with different colour schemes, offering a stylish, functional focal point.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
