Description

Asal 120 cm wide simple and minimalist media stand for TVs up to 55'' is defined by practical functionality and streamlined design. Offering three stylish open shelves, this design includes 48 cm wide and an almost 11 cm high area in its centre that is perfect for a TV tuner, remote controller or other small media devices. Top this design with a sleek flat-screen TV, then deck out the interior with open shelves with your favourite books and DVDs, framed family photos, and hurricane candles, while using the middle shelf for your new video game console and the cable box. Reversible use that both front and back sides of the stand can be used as the front side interchangeably.

Our Stylist Says

I love how the Astona stand pairs a crisp white carcass with a slim black metal base - its streamlined silhouette suits modern minimalist, industrial and Scandinavian schemes. At 120 cm wide it comfortably accommodates TVs up to 55″, while its open cubbies keep media boxes and accessories neatly on display without adding bulk. To style, organise items in odd-numbered groups and vary their heights - books, small vases or a cordless speaker work well. Tuck cables through the rear slots for a tidy finish, then soften the look with a small potted plant or sculptural lamp on one side and a monochrome print or textured rug to ground the setup.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
