Description

This delightful Voliéres medium birdcage chandelier is a witty statement piece. The wire cage is home to a menagerie of pretty feathered birds made from real feathers which have been ethicallysourced. Each chandelier is handmade and therefore will be unique with its own assortment of birds, and will not be identical to the one pictured.

Our Stylist Says

I love this birdcage pendant as a quirky, modern take on traditional lamp shades. It’s perfect for adding a touch of whimsy and personality to eclectic or boho interiors, working well over dining tables, in nursery spaces, or even as a statement piece in a living room. To style it effectively, consider pairing it with warm, ambient bulbs to highlight the colourful details and create a cosy atmosphere. Keep the surrounding decor minimal to let the intricate design shine, or complement it with natural textures like rattan or linen for a relaxed, coordinated look. This pendant really lends itself to spaces where you want a playful yet sophisticated lighting feature.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
