Description
An extension of our Vivienne range, this swivel armchair takes its inspiration from the 1960s-style interiors of White City House. Upholstered in cotton velvet with pleated stitch detailing for an added tactile element, its curved shape is created with cosy, conversational moments in mind. I’m a fan of the Vivienne chair’s rounded silhouette and plush velvet finish - its lichen green works equally well against pale walls or richer jewel tones, and the channel-stitched arms add just the right nod to art-deco without feeling over the top. The low, circular profile also means it slots neatly into smaller living rooms or snug reading corners.
For styling, team it with a slim timber side table and a slender floor lamp to create a cosy nook, or place two opposite a sofa to soften more angular furniture. A single patterned cushion in muted tones or a simple throw will add texture, and a few brass or bronze accents will pick out the warmth in the chair’s wood-tone base.
