Description

The Lukas Changing Table is the perfect addition for your nursery. A bespoke and modern space saving design perfectly holds a changing mat with an accessory drawer underneath, ideal for storing essential wipes and balms. There are 2 contemporary shelves below for storage and spare clothes. Made in Latvia from local solid birch wood, finished to high standard with water based paints.

Our Stylist Says

I really like the trolls Lukas changing table - it’s practical and sleek with its clean white finish, making it versatile for a variety of nursery styles. It works particularly well in modern or Scandi interiors thanks to its minimalist design, but could also complement more classic or rustic themes when styled with warm textures and soft accessories. Practical tips include adding baskets or organisers to the shelf space for extra storage, and positioning it near a comfortable chair for easy and stress-free nappy changes. Its neutral tone helps it blend seamlessly into existing colour schemes, making it a long-lasting piece, even as your little one grows.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
