Description

I’m a fan of this low bookcase for its clean lines and sturdy metal frame - it brings a modern-industrial edge without overwhelming a space. The warm brown shelves work especially well in Scandi, loft-style or minimalist interiors, and its low profile makes it ideal as a media unit or hallway console.
To style it, mix books (stacked and upright) with decorative objects in odd numbers, add a couple of woven baskets on the bottom shelf for concealed storage, and finish with a small potted plant or sculptural vase for a touch of greenery and texture. Keeping each shelf lightly edited maintains a tidy, curated look.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores".
